Hey, my name is Sarah,

I have over 15 years experience in broadcast television working on a wide variety of formats; from hard-hitting documentaries to shiny floor entertainment shows and everything in between. In more recent years I have focused on casting for branded content, commercials, and print campaigns.

I have cast individuals, families and groups from a huge and diverse range of backgrounds, each with their own unique story to tell. From grassroots street casting through to specific outreach and specialist targeted casting including academics, influencers and A-listers. I pride myself on finding the best possible contributors to suit the brief; often working on very fast turnaround projects and adapting to creative changes throughout the process.

Every project is as unique as my approach to every brief. I can work from the very beginning of the process with initial creative research or can be called upon in the middle of a project when last minute help is required. I can cast on a large scale, bringing in and leading a casting team, to find numerous contributors, or I can work independently on smaller, bespoke projects.I can produce casting tapes, work up pitch decks, biographies of potential contributors and assist client pitches when necessary.

 

Building relationships and trust with contributors is an incredibly important part of what I do. That's why I often co-ordinate the contributors on shoots, ensuring they feel safe and well looked after while allowing the producer and director to focus on creative. I always recommend follow up after care so everyone leaves feeling positive about the final film.
